Most people think that animals stop communicating with us when they cross over, but I’ve found that isn’t true at all. Our animals love guiding us and sending us signs from animals in spirit; they just have to get a little creative to do it!
A couple of weeks ago, I did a reading for an animal in spirit and received a sign I had never experienced before. I’ve spent years helping people bridge the gap between our world and the afterlife, but even I get surprised by how creative our pets can be during an Animal Communication Session..
It completely blew my mind (I’ll tell you that story in a moment). It inspired me to share the nine ways your animals can send you messages through the technology you use every day. Some of these you may have already noticed, others might be new, and one of them might completely shock you.
1. Midnight phone Messages from Your Pet
Have you ever had your phone or laptop screen suddenly light up for no reason? This often happens when the world is quiet and your mind is calm—usually in the evening or after midnight.
I’ve specifically experienced this with repeating numbers. My phone will turn on at exactly 1:11, 2:22, or 3:33 a.m. This isn’t a glitch; it’s an “angel message” from the other side. These are common signs from animals in spirit letting you know they are still right there with you.
2. Social Media & the “Healing” Algorithm
If you’ve lost a pet and suddenly notice your “Algorithm” feels different, pay attention. You might start seeing meditations you desperately needed to hear, or videos of animals doing the exact quirky things your pet used to do. They know exactly how to nudge those digital wires to bring you peace and healing.
3. Perfectly Timed Photo Memories
This one hits right in the heart. You’re going about your day—maybe at work or doing chores—and your phone vibrates. You expect a boring email, but instead, it’s a “Memory” notification. It’s a photo of your dog sunbathing or your cat leaping through the air. These images always seem to pop up in the moments we need them most, grounding us in the fact that we aren’t alone.

This story still amazes me. A client of mine was in deep grief and asked her cat in spirit for a sign. Suddenly, her GPS app started acting up, moving back and forth on the screen near her home. She followed the “glitch” to a specific location and found an abandoned kitten. Her cat in spirit literally directed her to a new soul that needed her help. Our animals don’t just watch us; they direct us!

This happened to me for the first time recently! While doing an [Animal Communication Reading], my keyboard started typing repetitive letters on its own: AAAAAA, then hhhhhh. I couldn’t stop it! Then, the delete button kicked in and erased everything except three letters: “A ha.” The pet I was talking to had a huge sense of humor! If your tech acts up, it might be a “digital paw print” telling you to slow down and take a break.

They aren’t asking you to replace them; they are helping you open your heart again.
9. Search Engines & Intuitive Messages
This is a subtle one. You go to Google to type something, and the “auto-fill” suggests something incredibly specific—like the breed of your dog or a vacation spot you visited together years ago. It’s their way of saying, “Don’t forget about me, because I haven’t forgotten about you.”
